These terms govern your use of Forma (“Forma”, “we”, “us”), a native iOS and watchOS strength-training app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Forma.
Not medical advice
Forma provides general fitness and training information, including AI-generated routines and coaching. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for a physician, physical therapist, or qualified professional. Consult a doctor before starting any exercise program. You train at your own risk and are responsible for exercising within your ability. Stop and seek care if you experience pain, dizziness, or injury.
Your account
You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use Forma. Provide accurate information and keep it current.
Subscriptions and billing
- Forma offers auto-renewing subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period’s end.
- Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Any free trial’s unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
- Purchases are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple’s standard End User License Agreement.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the app or its backend.
- Use the app to violate any law or infringe others’ rights.
- Upload content you do not have the right to share, or that is unlawful or abusive.
- Misuse the AI coach to generate harmful, illegal, or deceptive content.
Your content
You retain ownership of the routines, logs, messages, and files you create. You grant us the limited license needed to store, process, and display that content to operate the service for you, including transmitting coach messages to our AI provider to generate responses.
Intellectual property
Forma, its software, design, and content (excluding your content) are owned by us and protected by law. These terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding.
Disclaimers
The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that AI-generated routines or insights are accurate, complete, or suitable for you. Use your judgment.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for injury, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using Forma and delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
